Sasha Designs was established in 1976 by the late Michael Petrides, to provide professional design services of the highest quality. Over the years we have succeeded in developing a unique design practice offering a full range of services and consultancy for interior architecture and design. The standards and quality of our designs, coupled with our flexibility, careful planning and budgeting, have earned us a reputation of being in the forefront of design in Cyprus.
Interior architecture + design, Design consultancy and branch identity, are the major lines of our business. Hotels, banks, offices, residences, shops, clubs, restaurants, that aim for quality and clients who appreciate contemporary design are all of interest to us.
Samples of our work will be found all over the free area of Cyprus as well as London, Kiev, Athens, Muscat, Riyadh...
Regular visits to exhibitions and connections with fellow designers in Europe keep us up to date with the design world. In the few opportunities given for participation in design competitions, we were awarded first prize for the design of OEB'S trophy for Creativity and Economic achievement, for the Bank of Cyprus 90 years exhibition, for the design of CYTA.'s boardroom in Nicosia, Electricity Authority's shop in Limassol, and CTO’s (KOT) information offices.
Sasha Design's managing director Mr. P.M. Petrides is a qualified designer (Dip. LCF London) and accredited consultant (C.M.C.). He has served the design world as vice-president of the Cyprus Designer's Association, as Design representative to OEB's Services Committee, and member of the Select Committee of the Services awards. He has published his views on design in newspapers and magazines and a series of radio interviews on Radio Super, and Kanali 6. He has also presented a series of design related TV programs on RIK1, ANT1 and Sigma. In 1989 Mr. Petrides was selected and included in the Baron's Who is Who in Interior Design.
